House Boat

For barges or other fluvial dwellings, a DPLG architect is not required. 

We designed, had it manufactured by a shipyard, did all the project management, arranged and decorated this house on the water.  A few years later, we returned to give the house boat a more up-to-date  feel to it.

EVOLUTION OF THE CONSTRUCTION SITE

For this particular house, called “Floating House”, it was necessary to use the existing, for reasons of authorization from the Port Authority of Paris and the waterways of France.  So we kept the base of the concrete hull, joined with side floats, to have the new base that will serve as a structure for the new floating house.
